Just finishing culinary tours in Puglia this year. I need to give a big thank you to @thethinkingtraveller what a lovely new property this year. Masseria Saccente near Polignano a Mare, this villa sleeps 10, I had a friend and client who asked me to organize a trip to Puglia for her and her friends. There were four couples and this villa checked all the boxes for their beautiful time visiting Puglia. If any of you are thinking you might be interested in visiting Puglia with your friends please let me know, this villa and our itinerary does not disappoint. This boat was not on the beach of Lido Fiori Sicily yesterday. It appears that refugees arrived last night or the early hours of the morning. It’s a very rusted steel boat. I can’t help think of the families who brought children over, likely from Tunisia and who knows before that. Leaving a very hard life to search for something better. Three other boats like this have been found along the coastline.

Our villa this past week was a new one for me. It had a beautiful pool area that was so well landscaped with a lovely outdoor bar. Our bartender Giacomo was the best! Great cocktails, beautiful presentation, the best service. #masseriasaccente #polignanoamare #chefbellabistro

Such a wonderful White Cocktail Party with Maria Giovanna @la_cuoca_casalinga_ Maria and her team prepared such a beautiful table filled with little appetizers and small plates. The panzerotti, octopus panini, grain salad, and potato cheese balls were amazing!
