We had the pleasure of meeting a new chef this year @masseriasaccente her name is Maria Giovanna @la_cuoca_casalinga_ what a fabulous job she did in creating our Saturday welcome dinner, teaching our guests to make orecchiette pasta. She also prepared a spectacular table of cocktail foods for our White Party. Next year she needs to teach me to make her panzarotti they were the best! Let’s face it, local chefs make me look good on Saturday evenings welcome dinner. Saturdays are crazy busy with guests leaving and guests arriving, restocking the kitchens. @niloredana is simply amazing. She has been the chef for our welcome dinners and parties at Trulli Andrea for years. This year I just said Loredana you create the menu, I have complete trust. She created the most wonderful seafood dinner. Everything is always prepared with the freshest of ingredients, the plating is always beautiful and creative. Thank you Loredana for another wonderful welcome dinner for my travelers ❤️❤️

A very special thank you to our driver Giacamo who has been driving our travelers for years. Come rain or shine, if we are late or on time Giacamo is always there. The most courteous professional safe driver in Italy. If you could hear the stories on Italian drivers our guests had before they reached us in Puglia 😂😂 we also found out that Giacamo loves Bernese Mountain dogs and Coco from @giovanniaielloenologo won his heart ❤️ Thank you Giacamo we love you and are happy to call you friend.

I first would like to thank @thethinkingtraveller in order to have a successful culinary week we need a beautiful villa that our travelers can call home for a week. Wether it be Trulli Andrea located near Ceglie Messapica or Masseria Saccente locate near Polignano a Mare both villa’s come with spectacular manicured grounds. @thethinkingtraveller team is always great to work with from the selection of the villa’s to organization of special tours, chef services, dinner reservations, last minute special needs. Special thanks to @freyahopkins for helping me choose villa’s for this incredibly busy year in Puglia & Greece. Also special thanks to @tammydanese for being there from the very beginning to help organize my culinary tours in Puglia and continues to be a friend and great support. Here’s to looking forward to 2024 😍

It trulli takes a village to make a culinary week great in Puglia. This is not all on Timiteo and I. What treasures did I bring back from my latest culinary tours in Puglia Italy? Organic flours, specialty cheeses, olive wood pasta paddle. Did I get stopped thru security with my carry on? Why yes I did… did all these lovely products from Puglia make it safely to Colorado? Why yes they did. Cannot wait to play in my kitchen.
